November 2007

  • Instructional DVD: Pre-order now! We've completed filming my instructional DVD, Modern Tribal Bellydance, produced by the fabulous WorldDanceNewYork. The program features a rigorous warm-up, intermediate hipwork, robotic ticking and mechanical movement, and six combinations that combine into a complete choreography. The release features music by Maduro, Venetian Snares, Hecate,and Cdatakill. The DVD is scheduled for release in January 2008.

  • New website! Meant to reflect my fascination with the electronic and mechanical, the new web design is monochrome and minimalist. Inspired by many things, including the film Pi, the videos of Chris Cunningham, David Cronenberg's Videodrome, and the televisions at New York's Remote Lounge.
